Introduction
1.1
About CMR-986
CMR-986 is a compact WiMAX / 3.5G wireless router providing fast, reliable and easy Internet access
for every occasion. For Internet access, the router supports both WiMAX / 3.5G mobile standards as
well as Cable/DSL Internet connections. Mobile users can access and share their WiMAX / 3.5G
connection anywhere their WiMAX / 3.5G service is available.
A new exciting feature is the addition of a mini-USB port that can be used for external battery packs
powering the router up. Users will no longer be bound to locations with AC power that means Internet
access on-the-go.
CMR-986 provides Multi-SSIDs for difference network environment and application. For heavy P2P
users the high efficiency CPU speeds up P2P download with 20,000 sessions.
The built-in 802.11-N access point provides faster speeds and enhanced reach to wireless
clients. Easy wireless setup is possible through WPS and wireless security is achieved through WEP.
WPA and WPA2 standards.
