FUELING ENGINE
Thisengineis

unleadedgasoline.Beforeoperation,
gasolinemustbe mixedwith
a
good
quality2-cycle
=dr-cooled
engineoil We
recommendCraftsmanbrandoil.Mix
gasoUne
and
oil
at a
ratioof 40:1 (A
40:1 ratioIsobtainedbymixing3,2
ouncesof o_withI gallonof unleaded
gasoline).DONOTUSE
automotive
oil
orboatoil.
These
oilswill
cause
engine
damage.When mixingfuelfollowthe
instruot
oneprintedon
the
container.
Onceoilis addedto the
gasoline,
shake
container
momentarilyto assure
thatthe fuelis thoroughlymixed.
Alwaysreadand followthe safetyrules
relatingto
fuel
before
fueling
your unit.
IMPORTANT
Experienceindicates
that alcoho_
blendedfuels(calledgaseholorusing
ethanol
or
methanol)
can
attract
rnols-
turswhichleadsto separationand
formationof a_ds duringstorage.Acid-
ic gas
can
damagethe
fuel
systemof
an
enginewhilein storage.
Toavoidengineproblems,the
fuel
sys-
ternshouldbe
emptied
beforestorage
for30 daysor longer.Drain
the
gas
tank, startthe engine andlet it rununtil
the fuel
lines andcarburetor

empty.
