The DCM-200 is a two-way DOCSIS 1.0 CableLabs certified Ethernet 10BaseT Cable Modem. The DCM-200 provides high-speed Internet access over a cable network and can connect to a computer via its Ethernet or USB port, which connects to an Ethernet card in a PC or a Laptop. The DCM-200 provides intelligent IP allocation management, which can be configured to work on a Static or DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) network. For security purposes, the DCM-200 provides 56-bit DES (Data Encryption Standard) to encrypt data transaction for both upstream and downstream transmission
